You see mates, seeing their parents getting involved in what our kids do appears to me so far to be the most important thing kids want. Quality time with ones kids appears to be equal to quantity time with them. The more time parents have with their children appears to also imply the more they understand their kids.
Not that I am an expert at this, but this is what I am finding through getting involved in activities with my daughters. Not too sure if it will be different with our son.
